PROGRAM & CLASSES

BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU

At DW Jiu Jitsu, our training program offers a variety of classes, including traditional gi sessions as well as nogi classes, also known as ‘submission grappling’.
These classes are structured based on skill level, and the schedule clearly indicates which sessions are no gi. Each new enrollee at our academy is given a personalized orientation lesson within their first three classes.

This introductory session is tailored to your individual skill level, providing either private or semi-private instruction to ensure you get the most out of your jiu jitsu journey.
For details on beginning your training with us, please refer to our informational guide.

FUNDAMENTAL PROGRAM

Embarking on a new sport or martial art can be daunting. Crafted to ease you into the essentials of the art in a supportive, secure, and engaging setting.

INTERMEDIATE PROGRAM

For students who have either completed the Fundamentals course or achieved a 1st degree white belt, this program is your next step towards earning a blue belt.

ADVANCED PROGRAM

Crafted for individuals who have navigated through both the fundamental and intermediate levels or have achieved a 4th degree white belt, the Advanced class caters to students aiming to progress to higher belt ranks

KIDS CLASS

Introducing a child to Brazilian jiu jitsu is a truly invaluable gift, offering not just a physical activity but a comprehensive journey of personal and character development that will benefit them in all aspects of life indefinitely. It’s an enjoyable method for children to achieve excellent physical fitness, bolster self-assurance, foster respect, enhance discipline, and counteract bullying.

NOGI – SUBMISSION GRAPPLING

The No-Gi submission grappling program is structured to build upon the core principles of jiu jitsu, translating these fundamentals into the No-Gi format. This program is specifically tailored for students who have reached an advanced stage, requiring at least a 4-stripe white belt to participate.

PRIVATE LESSON

While the communal atmosphere of group classes serves as the bedrock for learning and advancing in jiu jitsu for many, others may find that personal training sessions better suit their learning style or goals.
